Description

As a continuation of the module Introduction to Luxembourgish Language and Culture, this module provides students with the opportunity to further develop their proficiency in the Luxembourgish language and deepen their cultural understanding of Luxembourg. The focus will be on developing vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation skills, enabling students to refine their communicative effectiveness in Luxembourgish. Due to the cultural specificity of trilingual Luxembourg, the CEFR level for comprehension of Luxembourgish is B2 whereas that for production is B1. By working with authentic texts, including literature and media discourse, students will also develop a profound understanding of Luxembourgish culture and society.
